Ytd marks the day baby Javier turned 1 week old! Went back TMC to his pd for follow-up checkup & also to take his metabolic screening test. As for Mummy, it marks the day I can finally breathe fresh air! REally hate confining myself at home... Haha...
Granny was initially worried Baby Javier may create a din like he does at home sometimes. Guess what, he was such an angel! Slept from home to TMC. Woke up when it was his turn for to see doc. Cooperate with the doc who did the usual body check on him. He even kept still and quiet when the doc placed him tummy down on the bed while we bombarded the doc with loads of qns... After the checkup, he did wail for a few moments as it was feeding time. After the feed, we brought him to the lab to withdraw blood from his feet for the screening. Broke my heart thou when granny told me quite abit of blood (like 3 tubes?) was taken from him thus he started wailing abit when the 2nd tube of blood was taken. Still, he was easily pacified after the blood withdrawal and he fell asleep not long after when we go to the clinic to remove my stitches. After a long wait for my stitches to be removed, we finally left TMC and Javier is still sound asleep until we reach home! :):)
Granny said Baby JAvier really knows how to "zuo ren"! Whew... Daddy & Mummy was so relieved that the checkup went well and mummy's wound is also healing very well! :)
